So I decided last night to take a look at my life, it was weird too, it was one of those moments where I'm at Burger King and wasting time on the clock, when I realize I really do have a pretty good life. Whoever thought that self realization could happen while being surrounded by a thousand grease drenched "meat" patties? Not me.
So I was at work on front line[you know the guy who takes your order when people are not being lazy[for once] and come inside?] and this guy comes in like he always does. He looks about 23, kinda short, pretty chubby. He always wear this suit which looks too small for him, his cell phone is always clipped on to the side of his belt, and he needs to clip his fingernails which are long enough to be used as miniature shovels. Oh and did I mention he is unbelievably slow at ordering even though he gets the EXACT same thing EVERY day?
So he came in and I got stuck helping him and I looked at him and I thought "Wow this guy is fucking pathetic. I have more friends than him and that's really actually saying something." And then he finally came up and ordered, and you know what? He was actually really nice. And you know what else? At that moment I felt like the only one that was pathetic in that store was me, but the truth is all of us are like that.
Why do we always look at someone who isn't the typical definition of what we would define as "cool" and immediately write them off as pathetic and lonely? Why is it that we all hate to be treated that way but when its someone else it is perfectly acceptable.
You know I fucking hate when someone looks at me and assumes I'm a certain way. They assume I have no friends or no life or I'm gay or never talk but the truth is you don't fucking know me. My life is actually very good, I have some of the most amazing friends in the world who give me orange freezepops, steal my cigarettes, and let me sleep over. Oh and they're always there for me too. I have a roof over my head[most of the time], I'm educated, I got a job and I got food in my house.
So maybe next time when you try looking at someone, see who they are and not just what social stereotype they fit. You might just meet a really nice person that you never knew existed. Those are the type of transcendental moments I'm talking about in Burger King, where you realize something you've always known before but just never really clicked. Those moments, to me, are the essence of our existance, and for those I'm truly thankful. | | | |

| Edit: I'm thinking about getting a new xanga... Any suggestions on the screen name from what you know about me? I'm thinking I might just use my Aim sn: UnknownDreamer17 but i kinda think i want something original and fresh... so yeah any ideas comment me about it...

| So I'm back in town... The Ozarks was a lot of fun at times so yeah here is a quick list of things I did on it...
-ate a Goober burger(wasnt THAT bad)
-read Harry Potter because I'm lame like that
-got unpacked in one room, next day we had to move hotel rooms
-watched bailey(matt's dog) swim
-slept on the boat with Jason
-went tubing
-diving of the front of the boat and hitting the cold spots
-fishing, actually caught one
-a call to beth
-pictionary
-waterskiing
-sunburn
-came home
so yeah it was pretty fun but yeah I'm sunburned like so unbelievably bad... and everyone finds it slightly amusing to slap them... oh well I'm getting kinda use to it lol... but yeah it was fun...
hmm I missed some people too, like Courtney and Beth... hanging out with both of them this week... seems like FOREVER since I've seen either one of them so yeah it will be really good to see them... And yeah iunno what else to say... lol la la la call me later if you wanna hang out though...
